It’s been a long time we haven’t heard of the de PetitsDieux family. In case you wonder, they are fine. In fact, the whole neighbourhood is doing fine, as you can see.
Ca fait un moment qu’on n’avait pas entendu parler de la famille de PetitsDieux. Au cas où vous vous demanderiez, ils vont bien. En fait, tout le voisinage va bien.

Gaëtan, the heir of the family, has come back home, with a promising future. It didn’t take him more than a few days to fulfill his dream of becoming a rock star ! In Veronaville, it is a well known fact that Fame follows the de PetitsDieux.
Gaëtan, l’héritier de la famille, est revenu au château, avec un avenir prometteur. Cela ne lui prit pas plus de quelques jours pour réaliser son rêve de devenir une star du rock ! A Veronaville, c’est un fait bien connu, que la Célébrité suit les de PetitsDieux.

Things were a little more complicated when it came to love. Gaëtan just couldn’t close his eyes without thinking about the two women he loved : Gina and Madelaine. He had first invited Madelaine to move in, and soon after, he offered her a holliday to a tropical island.
Les choses étaient par contre un peu plus compliquées en ce qui concerne l’amour. Gaëtan ne pouvait pas fermer les yeux sans penser aux deux femmes qu’il aimait : Gina et Madelaine. La première qu’il invita à emménager était Madelaine, et il lui offrit des vacances sur une île tropicale.

Gaëtan and Gina were barely talking about their wedding (Gina didn’t know about Madelaine, though Madelaine knew about Gina) that Francis and Clarence felt their time for retirement. They organized a small party for it.
Gaëtan et Gina commençaient juste à parler de leur marriage (Gina ne savait pas pour Madelaine, tandis que Madelaine savait pour Gina), que Francis et Clarence décidèrent de prendre leur retraite. Ils organisèrent une petite fête en cet honneur.

Lying is a useful skill, but it becomes a real talent when Gaëtan had to explain to Gina, his soon-to-be wife, why Madelaine was living in the castle, and who she was pregnant with. Looks like the family is about to grow in numbers again !
Mentir est une compétence utile, mais cela devient un réel talent quand Gaëtan dut expliquer à Gina, sa future femme,pourquoi Madelaine vivait au château, et de qui elle était enceinte. On dirait que la famille va encore s’agrandir !

The final little piece of mayhem missing in this intricate puzzle was the morrow of Gina and Gaëtan’s wedding, when Gina found out the family was about to expand again.
La dernière petite pièce tordue manquant dans ce puzzle à 10 000 pièces se produit le lendemain du marriage de Gina et Gaëtan, quand Gina découvrit que la famille allait encore s’agrandir.

That’s how the family spent winter.
C’est dans cette atmosphère que la famille passa l’hiver.
